1.       Students are asked to enter 5 different IP or web addresses around the world and trace their routes.

2.       Comment on the route complexity (directness) and speed. (4 pts.)

3.       Try the same URL or IP after 10 minutes and see if there are variations in the route.  Report on it.  (2 pts.)

4.       Why might the route be different? (2 pts.)

5.       Why might the route appear to you as not direct? (1 pt.)

6.       Why is not the entire route shown from Finland ? (1 pt.)

7.       Where are the slowest connections? Why do you think?  (2 pts.)
